Development of Strain-gauge Type Transducer for Pulse Detection



Abstract
In this paper, we devised strain-gauge type transducer that has non-differential characteristics for pulse detection on choengu arterial. The transducer consist of load cell that has strain gauge and driving electronics. The load cell consist with a cantilever and two metal film strain gauge.
The pressure signal which from choengu artery is delivere to load cell by using artery rider that attached to cantilever. Therefor the pessure signals are convert to voltage signals by the developed transducer.
As the results of experiment, the developed transducer has less than 1% non-linearity at a pressure to voltage conversion. And it can detect non-differential whole pulse signal from chonegu artery with conveniently. The developed transducer can monitor a pressure condition when detect pulse, so it can use as basic tool to derive float and sink parameters from pulse.
